Rear left/right brake caliper for the Volvo 850, S70, V70, V70XC, AWD. The brake caliper only fits four-wheel drive models, as well as Volvo 960 and S90, V90.
Compare the figure with the ones that you have on your car as there are differences on the last V70XC -00 which may have the newer caliper 00-07 with product no: 11031410 and 11031411.
This caliper has two bleed-nipples on the rear side. If your caliper has one bleed-nipple it is the 11031410 or 11031411 model.
Note that the guide bolts shown in the picture are not included.
The brake caliper fits:
Volvo 855 AWD, all four-wheel drive models.
Volvo S70 AWD 97-00, all four-wheel drive models
Volvo V70 AWD 97-00, all four-wheel drive models
Volvo V70R 97-00 until chassi number -587425 (10mm disc)
Volvo V70XC AWD 97-00, all four-wheel drive models
A common sign that a brake caliper needs replacing is that your car pulls to one side when braking, or that the brake pads are being worn down more in one wheel than in another. If the piston in the brake caliper isn't running as it should do, this can worsen the braking performance, which in turn will make your Volvo pull to the side when braking. If the piston in the brake caliper gets stuck in the outer, active, position, instead of gliding back into place after braking, this will result in added wear and tear of the brake pads. In some cases this can also result in skewed brake discs. A tip is to also replace the brake hose when replacing the brake caliper.
