Digital Lightning 1200 levereras alltid i ett aktivt läge. Om du vill avaktivera dess funktion, bör en strömbrytare kopplas in i modulen. Denna hittar du i listan till höger. Fungerar också på bilar utan CAN system, men då aktiveras modulen analogt. Denna kabel medföljer ej.
Monteringen av detta reläkitt sker som vanligt. Ända som skiljer är signalkablarna som är 2 till antalet och kopplas på bilen hög/låg CAN signaler. Förslagsvis i kontaken till en utav strålkastarna i hjulhuset.
Efter att satsen är monterad kan man ladda modulen med korrekt programvara. (Detta för att modulen behöver ha konstan ström för att kunna ta emot programvaran).

Stoppa in USB stickan i modulen. En grön lampa kommer då att lysa, den denna blinkar har modulen tagit emot programvaran.
