How to mount front splitter on Volvo V40

We will not mount this add-on lip with the screws that come with it, we will do it in a simpler way. The kit comes with screws and locknuts and to mount these on the car we need to remove the bumper. In this guide we will show an easier and faster way to mount the lip with the help of cross screws, the washers that are included in the kit and glue.
Important to know is that if you put the screws more than 3cm from the edge, you must use glue, but we recommend always using glue.

Test mount/hold the lip against the car before you paint it, so that you are sure that you have ordered / received the right part.

Clean the surfaces where the add-on lip should sit and the lip itself with IPA (SA22031415) which removes grease and wax.

Put the glue on the lip, We use black glue (19052406).

Screw on the lip, the screws should be at 15-20 cm intervals. Do not screw in 3 cm further from the edge, if you do, you must have glue.
