HOW TO CHANGE CASE AND BATTERY FOR S80 06-16, V40 13-19, V60, S60 10-17 V70, XC70 08-16, XC60 09-17 CAR KEY

Note that this is only the case and the buttons to the key. Battery and electronics are not included, this is easily transferred from your old key. This shell comes with a "blank" key element. Original key fits in this shell. Carefully read how the change is made, to avoid something breaking.

Do you just need to change the battery? Follow steps 1 to 4!

Key case for Volvo S60, S80, V40, V60, V70, XC60 and XC70, with 6 buttons. Note that this is only the case and the buttons to the key. Push the latch to the side next to the key blade and pull out the key blade.

Take a screwdriver, slide the latch to the side and break open the case on the back of the case.

Remove the battery and insert the new CR2430 battery.

Squeeze the case until you hear a click

Take out the new case and do steps 1 and 2.

Look at how the contact ink is in the old case and place it the same way in the new case.

Insert the new CR2430 battery with the positive side down.

Press the button on the old case to remove the circuit board

Insert the circuit board into the new case.

Squeeze the case and insert the old key blade
