HOW TO MOUNT WIND DEFLECTORS FOR VOLVO

Wind deflector is a stylish and practical accessory for your Volvo. You can keep the window down a bit without drafts and reduce the risk of moisture entering during rain. They give your Volvo a nice look. We have two different types of wind deflectors, a surface-mounted model that you mount with the pre-assembled tape. The second model is mounted in the slot for the box and here you will find our guide on how these are mounted.

Wind deflector gives your Volvo a tougher look and reduces the noise when driving with open windows. We only sell wind deflectors to Volvo.
That is why we have all Volvo wind deflectors in stock. Always!

Start by cleaning the inside of the groove where the window opens and the tape will adhere better.

Remove the cover for the tape on the wind deflector and then start by pushing it in at the front edge.

When you have the front part in the right position, bend the wind deflector and poke it in the back edge as best you can towards the right place.
Keep in mind that it is best to install wind deflectors at the right temperature, if they are too cold, the material can easily give way.

Then start pushing the rest of the wind deflector into the groove, start at the front and work backwards.

Mount the clips with e.g. an ice scraper, it comes with a separate instruction where the clips should sit. Remember to put the small spike against the car and not the wind deflector.

Push the wind deflector outwards the first time you lift the window, so that the wind deflector is not pinched. This step only needs to be done exactly when installing the wind deflector.
