HOW TO CHANGE CASE AND BATTERY FOR S70, V70, C70, V70XC 97-00 CAR KEY.

The case usually wears out after a few years, instead of replacing the entire key, it is possible to replace the case and move the circuit board from the old key.

Worn key case? It is easy to replace the case and move over the small circuit board. Cover for alarm box with holes for 3 buttons

At the top of the key shell there is a space where you have to break with a tool to open.

It is a small latch that holds the battery in place that you need to push aside. Note which plus / minus position is located and then replace the battery (CR2016). Make sure that the new battery locks in place.

To change the cover, press the buttons to remove the circuit board from the cover.

Bring out the new case.

Start by inserting the new keypad into the new case.

Squeeze the front and back of the new cover with the circuit board in the center until it clicks.
