MOUNTING AND CONNECTION OF SLIM LED-BAR FOR VOLVO

Open the hood, you will need to loosen the headlight to access the signal cable.

Remove the registration plate.
Sign holders can look very different, our V60 has a sign holder that sits with a clamp strip and two screws.

Check where you want the bracket to sit, you can turn the bracket to get more space for the ramp, but the nicest thing is to mount in line with the sign.
Then measure out where you need to cut the grill to fit the led-bar.

Cut up the grill after the measurement you made in step 3.

Attach the bracket to the car with two screws where you want it to sit and then tighten the LED-bar to the bracket.

Loosen the headlight. Find a path for the wiring from the battery down to the led-bar and then connect the led-bar with the wiring.

Attach the bracket to the car securely.
(NOTE! If you use a screwdriver, remember to use low power setting on the screwdriver).

Replace the plate holder & registration plate.

Loosen the plug of the headlight and measure which is the signal plug in the high beam plug.
To perform the measurement take the help of another person, turn on the ignition.
Switch the headlight on and off while the other person measures where the signal contact is.

Once you have found the signal cable, insert a power thief, disconnect the signal cable and press down on the pin on the power thief.

Connect + and - to the battery. Connect black to earth, connect red + to plus pole.

Replace the headlight, if everything is connected correctly, the led-bar should start at the same time as you switch on the high beam on the car.
