HOW TO REPLACE HEADLIGHT LENSES

Strålkastarlinser till Volvo S60, V70, XC70 05-09, båda sidor. Passar bilar med originalxenon, halogenstrålkastare.

Start by unscrewing the number plate and any extra lights / led ramp.

Remove the screw in the wheel house in front of the tire on both sides to loosen the bumper.

Release the clips located in the engine compartment and the clips located under the front.

Unscrew the two bolts located on the front, remove the bumper.

Unscrew the 4 bolts that hold the headlight.

• One on the outside (1)
• Two tops (2 & 3)
• One on the short side towards the grill (4).

Disconnect the connector and loosen the headlight.

Remove the sealing strip located on the top of the lamp

Use e.g. Dremel to cut the old lens, you cut about 2cm from the edge around so as not to damage anything in the lantern. After cutting, the remaining plastic must be removed. It helps a little to heat the glue to make it easier to break off the remnants of the old lens.

When the plastic is gone, it should be cleaned in the groove so that the new glue adheres.

Glue the new lens.

Let the glue harden depending on which glue you use. When the glue has hardened, it is time to refit the headlight on the car.
