It is easy to change the case yourself, move over circuit boards and buttons to the new case. Are the buttons also worn or is the battery just bad? No problem we also have buttons and battery in stock for fast delivery.

HOW TO CHANGE CASE AND BATTERY FOR S60, V70, XC70 00-04, S80 99-04!
1. UNSCREW THE BACK
Start by unscrewing the screw on the back of the key (Torx 9), then the remote splits.
2. SPLIT THE CASE
There are two hooks on the bottom, so you need to lift and slide the half of the case for them to split completely.
3. CHANGE BATTERY
The battery is located on the back of the case, poke out the battery with a tool and insert the new one (CR2032).
4. REMOVE THE CIRCUIT CARD
Take the circuit board out of the old case, push in the buttons and it comes loose.
5. REMOVE THE BUTTONS
Remove the old buttons from the circuit board
6. BRING OUT THE NEW CASE
Bring out the new case and buttons.
7. OPEN THE CASE
Open the new case, Unscrew the back with a screwdriver.
8. MOVE OVER THE CONTACT INK
Transfer the contact ink for the battery from the old cover to the new one. Use a screwdriver to break up the contact ink on the old case and to put it in place on the new case.
9. PUT IN THE NEW BUTTONS
Insert the new buttons in the new case.
10. INSERT THE CIRCUIT CARD
Insert the circuit board into the new cover.
11. PUT IN THE NEW BATTERY
Insert the new battery in the new case, should sit on the back of the case.
12. READY
Assemble the case, the hooks on the bottom should be in first, press the case together and tighten the screw.
