HOW TO CHANGE BATTERY ON S60, V60 18-, S90, V90 17-, XC40 19-, XC60 18-, XC90 16- CAR KEY

Simple guide for you who have an S60, V60 18-, S90, V90 17-, XC40 19-, XC60 18-, XC90 16- car key and want to change the battery.

All you need is a screwdriver and a CR2032 battery.

Common on cars with model year 97-08

If it says 2032 on your old battery, this fits.

Press the latch located on top of the key, then pull the front down.

Under the cover on the front there is a latch that you have to slide sideways to be able to slide off the cover on the back (See picture).

Turn the cover to the open position and release it.

Take out the battery that is in 3 hooks, press down a screwdriver and slide the battery against the two hooks on one side and the battery will release.

Insert the new CR2032 battery with the plus side up.

Put the cover back over the battery.

Slide the key case back into the locks.
