The Volvodrive Treffen is the largest international Volvo event in Europe. Over 1,500 Volvo cars were present in Eindhoven at the Volvodrive Treffen.

Vparts traveled to the Netherlands to see nice Volvos and meet lots of Volvo enthusiasts, we talked to people from the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and the UK, among others.

The trip was made in our V60 2018, newly foiled along the sides like we had on our V70 2019. The first year we visited the Volvodrive meeting was 2019, but under the circumstances that have been in the world, it took 3 years before we got there again!

If you have the opportunity to go to the Netherlands and the Volvodrive treffen, we strongly recommend doing so!

It took us 24 hours to get to Eindhoven.

Day 1: Started the journey from Sundsvall via Stockholm to pick up a colleague and then continue to Copenhagen where we stayed the first night. It took us about 12 hours to get to Copenhagen.

Day 2: The journey from Copenhagen to Eindhoven was supposed to be faster than day 1 but we got stuck in a traffic jam outside Hamburg which made the journey take 12 hours instead of 9.5 hours.

Once there we had a trolley with printed cardboard as a smaller version of the V60 that we drove. We filled the trolley with discount cards, stickers and twix to give away to the people who were there.
We gave away:

• Approx. 520 discount cards.
• Approx. 460 moose stickers (unique for this event).
• Approx. 780 twix.

If we are to draw any conclusion from the meeting, we have to admit that we lack a range for the Volvo C30 in general, a more popular model outside of Sweden, which will be available in the Vparts Garage in the near future! :)
