How to Replace the Position Light Bulb on Your Volvo V70, XC70 or S80 08-13

When it's time to replace the position light bulb on your Volvo V70, XC70 or S80 08-13, you don't necessarily need to go to a mechanic. With our step-by-step guide, you can easily perform this task yourself and once again have the right lighting on the road. Let us take you through the process and show you how to smoothly and quickly replace your position light. Here's how it's done:

T10 LIGHT BULB, WHITE 5W

 Suitable for parking lights, position light and registration plate lighting. 

This is how you replace the position light bulb on Volvo V70, XC70 & S80 08-13!

1. Start with the Hood

Begin the replacement of your position light by opening the hood to gain easy access to the headlight.

2. Release the Headlight

Pull up the two locks that securely hold the headlight in place. This step allows you to remove the headlight and access the position light.

3. Disconnect the Connector

Continue by disconnecting the connector attached to the headlight.

4. Open the Hatch

Open the hatch to gain easy access to the position light that needs to be replaced.

5. Careful Removal

Gently pull the bulb backward to remove it from its socket. This step allows you to replace the existing position bulb.

6. Installation of the New Bulb

After removing the old bulb, replace it with a new one.

7. Reassembly: Easily in Reverse Order

Finish by reassembling everything in reverse order. Close the hatch to secure the new position light, connect the connector to the headlight, and reattach the headlight by locking it with the two locks.
