When it's time to change the high beam bulb on your Volvo V70, XC70, or S80 from the years 2008-2016, it doesn't have to be a complicated task. With our simple step-by-step guide, you can quickly and smoothly replace the high beam yourself. This way, you can ensure you have optimal visibility during your drives and are ready for all weather conditions. Let us guide you through the process so you can perform this maintenance easily and safely. Here's how you do it:

A standard H7 lamp, 55W. Suitable for fog lights, dipped headlamps and full beam.

Begin the process by simply opening the hood of your Volvo.

Lift the two latches that secure the headlight in place. This will allow you to easily remove the headlight and access the high beam bulb.

Disconnect the connector attached to the headlight. This step marks the beginning of your journey to replace the high beam bulb.

Release the latches that securely hold the cover on the headlight, and then remove it. Now, you have a clear and unobstructed access to the high beam bulb.

Press straight down on the high beam bulb holder to release it from its socket. Then, pull the holder straight out. This action will make it easy to remove the old high beam bulb.

Now that you have removed the high beam bulb, replace it with the new one.

Complete the process by reassembling everything in reverse order. Push the high beam holder back into place, reattach the cover on the headlight, connect the connector to the headlight, and secure the headlight with the two latches. You are now ready to finish by closing the hood.
