REFILL YOUR AC YOURSELF FOR VOLVO!

The normal case is that an AC loses the cooling gas over time, without there being any fault in the system.

BAD COOLING IN YOUR AC?

REFILL YOUR AC YOURSELF ON YOUR VOLVO!

Bad cold in the AC? The normal case is that an AC loses the cooling gas over time, without there being any fault in the system. This is due to pressure differences in the atmosphere between the different seasons in relation to the pressure of the cooling gas. With our AC refill kits, you can safely and securely refill your AC yourself. In the video above we show how to fill the AC on a Volvo V70, XC70 00-07. The principle is the same on all Volvo models, the difference is the location on the low pressure port.

With Stop Leak you can also seal smaller leaks and with System Oil you lubricate the system. Our kits include a filling hose with a metal coupling and a can of coolant. FrostyCool refrigerant is a completely natural, non-ozone harmful gas, which has minimal effect on global warming.

HOW TO REFILL YOUR AC

  1. Find your low pressure port for the AC system. It is located in different places on different Volvo models between the compressor and the torpedo wall.
  2. Remove the cover over the low-pressure port, take out the filling hose and screw the tap counterclockwise so that the needle does not puncture the can.
  3. Screw on the jar on the hose without unscrewing the tap. Then connect the quick coupler to the low pressure port. The quick coupling of the filling hose only fits the low-pressure port so it is not possible to make a mistake.
  4. Start the car and turn on the lowest temperature, turn on the AC and the fan speed on MAX.
  5. Read the manometer to see if you need to fill your system, it should be in the blue field to be ok.
  6. To fill in, now turn the tap as far as it will go, puncture the jar and turn the tap back to release the coolant.
  7. Turn and hold the jar upside down, now you feel the coolant go out of the jar into the system.
  8. Keep an eye on the manometer so that it does not become too high pressure. If the pressure becomes too high, close the tap to the jar immediately.
  9. Otherwise, empty the jar and screw the tap to close it.
  10. Continue to run the AC on full for about 5 minutes, listen so that the compressor turns on. If you don't feel any cold, you may need to fill another jar.
  11. When you have finished filling, disconnect the quick coupling, put the cover over the low-pressure port.
  12. Turn off the car. Now you have filled your AC system with coolant that is completely natural with non-ozone harmful gas.
