Limited to just 250 units, we are proud owners of number 153 of this exclusive group. The standard T5 engine has been given a serious boost with Polestar optimization, and the result? An increase of 23 horsepower, bringing it to an impressive 250 horses! This extra power is delivered through increased boost pressure and carefully tuned ignition and fuel systems.

Volvo created this model to delight enthusiasts, but here's the twist: they only sold it in the USA. So, if you were outside America, you could only drool over it from afar.

Let's take a look inside, where premium leather adorns the seats. You could choose either all black or, like ours, a two-toned beauty in black and white. There's a sunroof to give you the ultimate panoramic view, both seats are electronically adjustable for maximum comfort, there's a built-in compass in the rearview mirror to keep you on the right path, stylish blue instrument panels, r-pedals that give you a sporty feel, and a steering wheel that makes driving a pure joy.

On the outside, this gem is no less impressive. It comes with the standard R-design kit, but all 250 units are painted in Rebel Blue. And let's not forget those special, stylish, matte black 17-inch wheels that were only delivered to these 250 lucky owners.

The chassis is also something to talk about. It's a whopping 30% stiffer compared to the regular C30 T5, and the shock absorbers build pressure 20% faster at low speeds. Additionally, the steering has received a significant upgrade with firmer bushings and a 10% quicker response.

So, how did this wonderful creation end up in our hands? After a car meetup in the Netherlands in 2022, we decided to give in and get a C30 and start developing more parts for these little gems. After a lot of searching, we found this Polestar Limited Edition with a car collector in Michigan, USA. Importing it to Sweden was a tricky task, but with the help of the professional folks at Staffan Beck Import AB in Stockholm, it went smoothly.

But the journey home had a little surprise - a hungry rat had a taste for our ignition cables, so the car wouldn't start when it was supposed to leave the port. But don't worry, Staffan at the import company solved the problem before we picked up the car in March 2023.
