Näissä jarrulevyissä on pinnoitus, joka kestää paremmin ruostetta. Ruoste voi heikentää levyn jarrutusominaisuuksia ajan myötä.

Aja uudet jarrulevyt sisään:
Jarrulevyjen käyttöiän maksimoimiseksi sinun tulee ajaa kevyesti jarruttamalla ensimmäisten 50 000 kilometrin aikana. On myös hyvä välttää jalan pitämistä jarrupolkimella pidemmillä pysähdyksillä kovan jarrutuksen jälkeen, esimerkiksi liikennevaloissa. Pese Volvosi vasta kun jarrut ovat jäähtyneet tai vältä veden roiskumista kuumille levyille pesun aikana.
