Siipi alkuperäisessä mallissa Volvo V70 ja XC70 08-. Tämä siipi on yhtä korkealaatuinen kuin Volvon alkuperäiset. Siipi on valmistettu muovista, mikä tekee siitä kevyen, mutta rakenne on vahva. Siiven pinta on erittäin kaunis ja sileä, ja se toimitetaan pohjustettuna. Matta siipi alaspäin ennen lopullista lakkaa parhaan tuloksen saavuttamiseksi. Tarkista aina reikäkuva alkuperäiseen nähden, jotta se ei eroa.
V70 & XC70:n tavaratilan kannet on valmistettu komposiittimuovista, johon on helppo porata.
Maalauksen jälkeen siipeä ei saa lämmittää (kuumentaa), koska se voi vaikuttaa siiven muoviin.

Pureest IP, alkoholipohjainen puhdistussuihke. Isopropanoli puhdistaa lakan täysin. Kutsutaan usein IPA:ksi. Ihanteellinen aine maalipinnan puhdistamiseen kiillotusjäämistä ennen uuden maalisuojan tai vahan levittämistä. Ei saa käyttää maalipinnoilla, joita ei ole kirkaslakattu 2-komponenttisella lakalla.
Voidaan käyttää myös maalipinnan perusteelliseen puhdistamiseen ennen esimerkiksi uuden spoilerin asennusta.
