This is how you replace the low beam bulb on Volvo V70, XC70 & S80 08-16!

1. Open the Hood

To replace the low beam on your XC70 or S80 08-16, start by opening the hood. This will give you easy access to the headlight.

2. Release the Headlight

Lift up the two convenient latches that hold the headlight in place. This step allows you to easily remove the headlight and access the bulb.

3. Disconnect the Connector for Easy Removal

Detach the connector that is connected to the headlight. By doing this, you can proceed with the process of replacing the bulb.

4. Easy Access to the Low Beam Housing

Release the latches securely holding the cover on the headlight. Then, remove the cover to gain clear access to the innermost parts of the low beam.

5. Simple Disconnect of the Low Beam Connector

Disconnect the connector in the low beam by pulling it downward, just as illustrated in the picture. This will make it smooth to replace the bulb.

6. Release the Clamp Securing the Low Beam

Release the clamp holding the low beam in place. This allows you to remove the old bulb and install the new one.

7. Update with a New Low Beam Bulb

Once the clamp is released, gently remove the old bulb and replace it with the new one.

8. Smooth Reassembly in Reverse Order

Complete the process by reassembling everything in reverse order. Connect the connector to the low beam, replace the cover on the headlight, secure the low beam clamp, and place the headlight back in its position.
