The meter dials click into place, but are glued to keep them stable. They only fit the earlier meter housing that does not include meter dials from the manufacturer. It is very easy to install meter dials on the Volvo P2-models, just follow these instructions:
1. Lower steering column down to the lowest position.
2. Grasp the grey plastic frame around the housing, pull the frame straight toward you until it releases from its attachments.
3. Now you can see the attachments where the glass over the dials are inserted, with the help of a thin chisel you can release one attachment bracket at a time.
4. When the glass is removed you have access to the Dials and can attach your new meter dials.
