This kit enables the installation of aftermarket stereos in your Volvo S80, V70 and XC70 up to 2011. Complete kit (without stereo) with all cables required and a frame for mounting your single-DIN main unit. With this kit you also keep the steering wheel controls. The kit fits all the models mentioned below up to 2011 which have an active system, all the way to an amp under the front passenger seat. With this kit you can easily send a signal from the stereo to an external power stage to connect, for example, a subwoofer.
The aftermarket stereo is mounted where the display is today, which means that you lose the opportunity to see temperature, time, etc. You also lose the ability to change the menu in the display for e.g. mirrors or the alarm.
