Good to know:
Test mount the rear spoiler before drilling to make sure the angle is correct.
Be sure to drill at right angles to the nut in the roof spoiler. Make markings on the top and bottom cover to see what the angle should be. The hole will be slightly different from the original fixing and need some work.
The luggage covers for the V70 & XC70 are made of composite plastic which is easy to drill.
After painting, the roof spoiler must not be heated to speed drying as this may negatively affect the plastic.

Pureest IP, alcohol-based cleaning spray. Isopropanol makes the paint completely clean. Often referred to as IPA (Isopropyl Alcohol). Ideal product for cleaning the paint from polish residues before applying new paint protection or wax. Should not be used on paints that are not clear-coated with a 2-component paint.
Can also be used to thoroughly clean the paint before installing, for example, a new spoiler.
