Slotted Sport Brake Discs for all 4 wheels. This package of slotted brake discs fits the S40, V50, C30 and C70 that have 300 mm front brake discs. The rear brake discs are the same on all of these models. The slotted sport brake discs are adapted for those looking for great performance for tougher everyday driving. This package contains slotted front brake discs and rear only. Suitable brake pads can be found at a discounted price in the list on the right.

The sports brake kit fits:

Volvo S40 05-12 all models with 300 mm discs, also AWD
Volvo V50 05-12 all models with 300 mm discs, also AWD
Volvo C30 06-13 all models with 300 mm discs.
Volvo C70 06-13 all models with 300 mm discs.

Product information

Check the diameter of your car’s front brake discs. This package has front discs with a diameter of 300 mm and rear ones with a diameter of 280 mm. The rear brake discs are the same for all S40, V50, C30 and C70 between 2005 and 2013.

Be sure to clean the hub from rust and dirt before installing the new discs. A small grit may cause the disc to not lie completely flat against the hub and cause the brakes to vibrate when braking.

Braking in new brake discs:

To maximise the life span of your brake discs, drive with gentle braking for the first 50 miles. It’s also reccomended that you avoid holding your foot on the brake pedal after hard brakeing or at longer stops, a stoplight, for example. Wait to wash your Volvo until the motor and brakes cool down, otherwise avoid getting water on the discs during the wash.
With these easy tips, you keep your brake discs effective for an extended period of time.
