FrostyCool AC-System Sealer is intended for repair of leaks in the condenser, evaporators, pipes and couplings. This is an epoxy based product that reacts with moisture. If the system has not been evacuated with vacuum, FrostyCool AC system Dry should be used before adding the FrostyCool AC-System Sealer.
If the system has leaked to zero, FrostyCool AC-System Dry should be used as well, or vacuum until all moisture is evacuated! One can contains enough FrostyCool AC-System Sealer to repair small leaks in a normal sized AC system. If the system works 72 hours after refilling with FrostyCool 12a
the leak is small enough for the System Sealer to work!
In addition to sealants, one can of FrostyCool AC-System Sealer also contains 85 grams of FrostyCool 12a, which corresponds to about 210 grams of HFC-R134 and 235 grams of CFC-R12.
