A common sign that a caliper needs to be replaced is if the vehicle veers to the side when braking or if one Brake Pad has more wear on one wheel than the other.
If the plunger in the caliper does not move as intended, it can damage parts of your braking system, causing the vehicle to pull to one side while braking. If the piston in the brake caliper gets stuck in the outer active position instead of sliding back after braking, it causes extra wear on the brake pads and can sometimes warp the Brake Discs.
